forge: health. art. space is a community of highly skilled, experienced practitioners based on the Lanhydrock estate near Bodmin.
Uniquely, the core group of therapists actively engage through the Insight Collective, to consolidate and deepen the practise of our own modality through reflective practice with colleagues. This allows us an exceptional level of trust and clear referral pathways when needed with every practitioner at the practice and wider referral group..
It offers our clients an extraordinary degree of confidence in the ability and ethics of every practitioner at forge: and reassurance that each therapist is backed by membership of the most rigorous professional body in their field.
Forge: has beautiful, peaceful practice rooms where you will work calmly and undisturbed. The Studio is used for larger gatherings; meetings, workshops day retreats and looks out across the garden to farmland, trees and woodland.
Working from forge: enhances your online work by rooting you in a close community of higly skilled practitioners and giving your face to face clients a tranquil, professional space to meet you. We all gain from the close connections and understanding of each other's work that engenders trust and support.
Currently space exists for a few appropriately qualified practitioners to apply to work here.

I work particularly with people who present chronic and complex conditions in areas including digestion, fertility and pregnancy, menopause, and increasingly, neurological conditions.
Often our physical ailments and conditions reflect our emotional world; at other times they are a direct result of work or lifestyle. I see beyond the obvious presenting problem to uncover the cause. I am always treating you, not the disease, and I can help change long-term deep-seated problems to a far more manageable state.
I use Japanese-style acupuncture and moxibustion, a process that uses heat instead of needles, and Chinese-style herbal medicine, recommending the appropropriate treatment for you now, when you come to my treatment room.

There are several ways you can engage deeper with forge:health, art, space.
We host a monthly solopreneurs Breakfast Club, where connection and community with other independant professionals is the anchor. Conversations spark relationships and often lead to collaborations in the workspace.
The Insight Collective is currently a 6 weekly meeting where highly qualified, experienced and professionally registered therapists across many disciplines create the space to reflect on the relational aspect of our work between therapist and client; noticing what we bring as individuals and how that impacts both on the quality and efficacy of our work, and on us as individuals, both expectedly and unexpectedly.
